this picture was taken in modena, italy, march 2007. m said that it was amazing to watch the man work. he was quick and knew exactly where to put each brick. it's like a mosaic, and a puzzle. one does not see this in the west village. sadly. gaze at our lovely cobblestones: (nice patch-up job on the second picture, eh?)
driving on the village's cobblestones must be like how it was in a horse and buggy, because it's VERY bouncy!now feast your eyes on the streets of old modena. (i also like how there is no garbage.)
