another sick day

unfortunately, c was even worse on wednesday . . the fever went higher and though she didn't have a headache, her throat became sore. she's the same today. she's very listless, but still hungry. i'm trying to keep her to cooling foods, and, as you can see, jack is keeping her company.

this fellow lives above gonzo restaurant on 13th street. he was very interested in watching c and m and i as we admired his handsome bulldoggy self.

of course i am partial to this cutie pie!

spring fever

it went up to 57 degrees today and all jack wanted to do was sit by the corner and watch all the dogs go by. in order to get him to return upstairs he had to be enticed with a biscuit.

back at the ranch, jack says:

this knitting pattern really has me stumped and is awfully dull.
